The Former MP for La Dadetokopong in the Greater Accra Region has vowed not to ever wear a flying tie again if the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) reduced Value Added Tax from 17.5 to 3 percent.
“…If NPP brings VAT down to 3 percent, I will never wear a flying tie again. I have chosen to throw a challenge with using my ties because I look very handsome when I ware them”.
“But you will see me in my tie again because they will not keep their promise to Ghanaians” Hon. Nii Amasah Namoale asserted.
He made this statement during a discussion on his expectations of the 2017 upcoming budget reading scheduled for Thursday, 2nd March.
According to Hon. Namoale, the NPP promised Ghanaians to reduce VAT from its current rate of 17.5 to 3 percent but “true to their trait of deceit, it will be missing in the budget”.
