Black Stars Captain, Asamoah Gyan has made a come back into the National Team after he controversially retired on Monday.

James Kwasi Appiah, Head Coach of Ghana Black Stars had already included Gyan in his list of 29 players for camping ahead of the Total 2019 African Cup of Nations.

Gyan made a press release to confirm his resignation as captain and subsequent retirement from on Monday.

He made a U-turn and then returned into the team on Tuesday after talks with President Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo.

The squad contains three home based players, two from Asante Kotoko and one from Accra Hearts of Oak.

The team will depart Accra, on Saturday, June 1, for pre-tournament preparations in Dubai, ahead of the competition.

Of the 29 players, the final 23 will be named to represent Ghana at the tournament.

The GFA Normalization Committee has lined up two high profile preparatory matches for the Black Stars against Namibia and South Africa.
