Cameroun are the new CAF U-17 champions after beating Guinea 5-4 on penalties. The final took place in Dar-es-Salam in Tanzania on Sunday April 28, 2019.
Both sides gave each other a tough time and had to settle for penalties before the winner could be determined.
Mohammed Sarko’s penalty was save by Cameroon’s Goalkeeper Manfred EKoi before Saidou Moubarak scored to ensure the young Indomitable Lions become Africa’s new Champions.
The Guineans were an improved side as they had lost 2-0 to the Cameroonians in a group stage fixture.
Angola won the bronze medal after beating Nigeria 2-1 in the third and fourth place game.

The first three teams will represent Africa in the FIFA U-17 World Cup which comes off later in the year.
