The Bawku Central Constituency Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Umar Sanusi Sheriff, has noted that the recently ended limited voter registration exercise in the constituency was one of the most successful in the constituency owing to the support of both the youth and some personalities in the NPP.
He has, therefore, commended the youth in the area for exhibiting a high level of maturity and cooperation during the limited voters registration exercise.
A statement issued to the Daily Graphic said “of course, the exercise was not without pockets of challenges at the beginning but with determination and fortitude shown by the youth, the exercise was a success.”
The statement further lauded the efforts of the Bawku Municipal Chief Executive, Hajia Hawa Ninchema, and the Chief Executive Officer of the National Food Buffer Stock Company(NAFCO), Alhaji Hanan Abdul-Wahab.
“His curious dream to see the NPP capture the Bawku Central parliamentary seat has thus taken shape and very much on course. I wish to assure him that the dividends of his goodwill in that regard shall manifest after the last ballot is counted in the 2020 elections,” the statement reiterated.
