Bishop Bernard Nyarko, a Kumawood actor, has taken a swipe at latter-day prophets whose only focus is predicting the death of acts in the entertainment industry.
According to him, attempts to understand such pastors have always proved futile since he believes that they are rather to uplift the spirit of Ghanaians than inflict fear in them.
A recent trend on social media was when Prophet Nigel Gaisie prophesied to Kumawood actor Lil Win that his former manager, Zack had padlocked his mouth in the spiritual realm to dissolve his career.

But, according to Bishop Nyarko, prophets who only predict doom of others don’t deserve to be recognised in society.
He has, therefore, urged them to refrain from such acts and rather propagate the gospel to the followers of Jesus Christ.
“They tend to put fear in many individuals, especially celebrities and this is because such individuals have huge following which may eventually convert into high numbers for their churches.
“Why don’t you approach individuals you see prophecies about than publicise them on social media? Just so it materialises so you claim fame in the sight of man? They are simply injecting and infusing fear into people’s lives,” he said.
